  • Our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is a 8-bed high acuity unit that provides complex monitoring and treatment of adult cardiac patients.
  • CICU receives patients from the Cath Lab, ED, and Acute Care areas who require specialized cardiac care.
  • Nurses must exhibit high levels of professional competency.
  • The nurses work to collaborate with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Our team is dedicated to making our patient's experience pleasant and comfortable in a safe and secure environment.
    • Job Requirements
    • Education - Required: Associated degree in nursing
    • Certifications - Required: AHA BLS, NIH
    • Licenses - Required: Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact License
    • Experience - Required: 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty.
