Press Brake Operator

FULL-TIME

$25/hr

Starting pay is $25-$30 DOE.

- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal plates and sheets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine job specifications.
- Select tooling, dies, and machine settings for each bending operation.
- Position metal plates and sheets accurately according to specified measurements.
- Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and depth for precise bending and shaping.
- Monitor press brake machine operation, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with required specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake machines.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues or notify maintenance for repairs.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
