  • Our Heart Failure / Stroke Unit is a 42-bed unit dedicated to our patients diagnosed with both neurological and cardiac conditions, such as congestive heart failure or acute stroke.
  • This area is a 1:6 ratio staffed with a group of highly skilled nurses trained to work with these specific diagnoses.
  • This team takes pride in being experts at managing complex neuro-cardiac conditions with precision and compassion while working alongside the cardiologists and neurologists.
    • Job Requirements
    • Associated degree in nursing
    • 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty.
    • Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license
      • Schedule Information
      • Will accept 36 or 48 hours / week
      • Guaranteed Hours: 36
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Must be willing to float to units/hospitals
        • 1:6 nurse to patient ratio
        • Expert management of complex neuro-cardiac conditions
